id: 36326 - Text: Bipolar,bpd,...all these so called diagnostic labels are just that...LABELS,Often what people are dealing with is TRAUMA,it is all trauma based and there is enough experts like Gabor Mate amoung others who don't believe in these labels or the DSM as it reduces people to these labels instead of seeing their behaviour and expereinces thorugh the lens of trauma and what happened to them.People need to read up on trauma and effects of trauma.
Gabor Mate is a great place to start who worked with addcits in downtown Vancouver for years and has written numerous books as a med doctor and looked at effects of trauma on every aspect of our lives.We more or less accept now that addcition has its roots in unresolved trauma and as Dr Mate worked with addcits he did not find one who had not been thorugh extreme trauma and abuse and also high rates of sexual abuse and many of them were also first antions people who came from traumatised communitities and reservation schools etc.
We have to stop labelling people and consider what has happened to them and not whats wring with them.

She might actually help someone that's experiencing addiction. She has an amazing and scary story. She overdosed 23 times abd still used. This is the cycle of addiction. It's clear many people can't even comprehend what she's been through so you all turn on the interviewer for being himself. He made a joke and you all sexualize it. Clearly you never seen what creepy looks like and this is not it.
