id: 544719 - Text: As someone who's worked in social work and disability care for 10 years, what I found most sad about this is that the first video of the series was a fascinating insight into this young woman's world, but the last two have revealed themselves to be about the videographer's saviour complex. Mark, you completely failed to maintain appropriate boundaries with a vulnerable person and your videos have instead contributed to her shame. What the hell did you expect? Someone who's grown up in a gang will change their life in a couple of months because a nice guy with a camera gives them money? If you really want to help your society, please go study, or at least read about, how to be a social worker, because this last video only shows your disappointment with her failing to live a "normal" life. None of which will be helpful to her and will possibly just make things worse.
