Came from a strong, stable background but continuously & very frequently made horrendous life decisions - most of which were poorly thought out. Can't say I was very comfortable hearing her story. Good she appears to have achieved stability & adopted a less toxic lifestyle which presents an opportunity for contentment & happiness. Came across well, regrets her choices & spoke honestly about them. Personally I don't think I could overcome her past history & experiences to even consider anything other than a platonic relationship. Probably says more about my inadequacies but I would always wonder what she was doing with me when she has such a huge back catalogue of sexual athletes.

If you read this and don't see that we are ALL resposible for the abuse of children, well, I feel sorry for you and worse for our children. Until the 1970's medical professionals thought that there were maybe 1 in a million chlidren who were sexually abused. It is now known that the figure is about 1 in 4 girls. There is no accurate number for boys because they will not talk about it. This book explains how society is loathe to see the reality in the way children have been viewed and treated through the entire history of the world.

These days it happens from a younger and younger age. It can take years to get out of its spiral. The porn business is one of the most evil. Sad that there are people who think it's trivial. Sex is such a powerful urge because it's how procreation happens and new human beings come into existence. Maybe if some people thought about that a bit more they would be better at controlling their passions. It can become an addiction if it's purely seen as to do with pleasure.
