She said in the earlier videos that she doesn’t have friends. The podcast series “According To Need” documented a story of a woman given housing after years living in a tent around others. There, too, all of her support system—however flawed—was in that encampment. It’s hard to help someone believe they deserve a better life, but I think it’s even harder to rip them from their support system even if it’s toxic.

But it almost sounds like.. you had feelings for her. And you're also butt hurt about things not heading in the direction you wanted.
Her videos got millions of views so you certainly earned money off of her story.
Your attempt at creating excuses for being around where she lives just makes it sound suspicious. And you'd have every right to check up on something you were investing thousands of dollars into regardless.
She told you about how difficult things are, and how one of the girls she knew got killed when she tried. Yet, you go ahead and comment on "it's not just the pimps, these women go back whenever given the change"
And the way you talk to some of these people, things you say... Something just doesn't sit right.
id: 546069 - Text: its hard to do face the world alone.... without support systems of shared experience and goals knitting relationships together to replace an unhealthy one, i think its much more likely to fall back into the comfort of what is known despite being unhealthy or destructive. i worry for asriah for becoming even more self destructive after going back to her old life. the shame and blame could create a bad cycle. that being said i hope she learned a lot and can keep trying. the outfit was fitting i think. dont give up hope asriah... neither you interviewer, is there am officiated support network that could assist you in your attempts to rehabilitate people in these situations? ideally the support system we need is of family and close caring people along all the stages of recovery, but a larger charity group or government program can be better than nothing. thank you for your work interviewer, this is a form of education, but be careful of becoming a form of 'content pimp' be there for her when she needs it or give her the donations and a fair portion of revenue from these videos. not judging just want to shine light on possible patterns forming unconsciously. keep helping people my friend
