Understanding their world and your own is rare as few people have been completely comfortable in both. Personally I spent fifteen years in law enforcement and over a decade as a homeless drug addict. I have deep sympathy towards those who were dealt a difficult hand in life but you must understand: they don't have the same feelings you do. If you were on the street and someone was helping you I'm sure you wouldn't break that trust. Not everyone has that. Be careful. I enjoy your videos but step back my friend. Letting yourself get too emotionally involved is very dangerous. Believe me, I know and I've made such mistakes.

The one thing I see missing in every video from both sides is God, thats where true transformation and peace will come from. id: 549652 - Text: Mark is human like the rest of us - he has very good intentions but it doesn't mean that he doesn't make mistakes. And those mistakes don't make him a bad person or mean the rest of what he's doing isn't of value. From the first video it was clear that Mark felt a connection with Asriah and felt committed to trying to help her. And it's also very clear that he was extremely saddened and disappointed by this turn of events - you can literally hear it in his voice. But despite that, he still treated Asriah with compassion while explaining why he was (justifiably) upset, and even did what he could to humanize her 'boyfriend' whom he acknowledged as controlling her. That's a tough needle to thread and I think Mark managed it well.
He maybe shouldn't have gotten so involved and this probably doesn't come as a surprise to many, but if you lose all of that hope, what else is there? I'm sure Mark knows better than any of us how difficult it is to get out (and stay out) of this life. Asriah is both complicit and a victim. That's a complicated reality that, again, Mark himself acknowledges at the end of the video. She seems like a very bright and resilient woman and I truly do hope that she overcomes what she's been through and finds her way to a less dangerous life.

The money that comes in to the site has no accountability if this is how it gets throws and blown. Oh, we can be sure some goes to the little to the charity angel; good for ratings and money contributions. Very rarely are the interviews with doctors, nurses, policeman, firefighters, ect. Even ones that came from broken homes or environments that aren't so good. Know why? Cause those ones don't get too much ad money. And face it, there's lots of money to get and give away. If you think something is too good to be true it usually is. Even if it has the best of intentions. Most videos are entertaining and educational, it's a good watch. But the proof of where the heart is lies in this video. Again be honest
