Her energy seemed a little different from the prior video...to me. I was really hoping she would do better for herself & her kids because she has potential like you mentioned. I can hear the disappointment in your voice & by the look on her face, I think she is a little disappointed in herself too. But at the same time, it's a "it is what it is" type of situation for her. Idk if she should be bringing more kids into a situation like that, but not my place to judge. She's still young & I can only hope that she stays safe & makes some changes as she gets older.

Wow talk about ungrateful. That money was for the Kid's. She lacks prioritizing and low levels with her cognitive thinking. Unfortunately, it's a lesson learned she is incapable of being a mature woman and needs 100 percent guidance just like a kid. It's sad you put your faith into her because yup she betrayed & took advantage of your kindness. Next time, get her a Case Manager or enrolled into a transitional housing program because she can not be trusted. Lesson on both ends for the giver & taker. This video was disappointing to watch compared to the rest due to her lack of taking accountability and no signs of being apologitic. She is being PIMPED but she is also PIMPING the opportunity in a negative way.
id: 550156 - Text: This is all just so sad and an up close and person view of what and why poverty exists. Yes SWU was trying to help this girl and her kids, but it seemed to be only her and her kids. I want to point out quick that he has no requirement to help either Asriah out , any dude she's with, or any of the people he helps. It's just so sad to see someone with an opportunity to completely change their life brought back down by the people she grew around and feels responsible for their success. She's not a bad person for deceiving him or for going back to the life, she just couldn't separate herself and her own success from other people. Changing her number would've meant she could move forward and would've been the best option, but it also would 've meant turning her back on and abandoning all the gang members and other people who may have been there for her in a previous time of need. Relocating a person and basically having them start a new life is so easy in theory, but it fails to take human emotion into account. As irrational as it may seem to a logic-minded outsider, it makes perfect sense why Asriah or anyone else would do something like this. It's just heartbreaking to see, and an example of misguided loyalty and empathy (from Asriah unto Fly), from people who have shared trauma and history together. I really do hope she can get her shit together and leave that life and I really, really hope Fly does have her best interests at heart and helps her live a straight, content life. They're both just broken people looking for someone who understands them completely before either one has to speak a word. I'm sorry Marc's help didn't keep her out the life and provide her with a long lasting alternative because God knows he tries. You can tell how upset he was in this video by his tone and the type of questions he asked. What I liked, however, is that he still has empathy for both interviewees. He knows they were given a shitty hand in life and knows how hard it is to get out of that financially, physically, and most importantly, mentally.
I really wish Asriah, Fly, and Marc the absolute best of luck. I hope they all find peace and an easy, simple, productive life. Here's to you, Marc.
