A lot of the comments on here seem to be saying Asriah played Mark. But how do you know? How do you know the gang members didn’t threatened her children? No one knows from this video what pulled her back. Yes, she’s an adult now and responsible for her actions but she would have SO much trauma it would be incredibly difficult for her to manage. She was raped repeatedly from age 13 (yes raped. 13 year olds cannot consent so any sex at that age is automatically rape). She never knew familial love. She’s experienced multiple life threatening situations where she genuinely could have been murdered.
Before judging, remember compassion. Progress is often not linear. I hope for the best for her.

Don't let me put words in her mouth, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did want to communicate but felt compelled or threatened into staying totally silent.
Either way, I wish them both the best, regardless of whether what they're doing is right or not, and whether or not it should be punished in some way. I hope the goal really is to get out and I hope they can achieve it.

Mark, you are an amazing soul. I could hear the heartbreak. I know the betrayal hurt deeply. Sadly, her trauma bonds to bad people are as powerful as the strongest drug. You can tell she knows she messed up. I pray she lets go of that pride, ask for forgiveness, and changes course.. I don't want to image her dying on those streets.

After every detail that Mark points out, I can’t help but scream “AND SHE HAS CHILDREN.” Mark referred to her as a girl, and that’s exactly right. This is what prison is good for in my opinion. Those two humans are a waste of space. Scum. They don’t positively contribute to society and can’t take responsibility for their actions, being the children that didn’t ask to be here.
