The vast majority of people in this type of industry do come from rough backgrounds of some sort - abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, mental health issues, screwed up, drugged out parents, struggled really badly in school, etc. It is very rare for a woman who was raised by a loving and supporting family and doesn't have a severe trauma or mental illness to choose this line of work.

id: 50016 - Text: @RhiFoxx No. What makes them not want to speak about it are all those who abuse & exploit the time & attention of protective service caseworkers by being deceptive about their actual situation which takes invaluable time & attention from those who REALLY need it. I really wish people would stop treating teenagers as if they have zero agency.
What were you doing when you were younger? Probably what many teens were doing and lying about school, skipping class, sneaking out at night, trying drugs, using alcohol, engaging in sexual activity, shoplifting, doing other small non violent crimes, etc. The more honest you can be about what regular 10 - 18 year olds get up to, the more you'll understand that these behaviors multiply as kids go through the system.

It's one reason I believe they can do porn is because they were made to feel that having sex was "normal" when they were children and it is so very sad. They often feel they are unworthy of love or respect.
