Unfortunately the stronghold of such things, especially when set in childhood is hard to break. She is worthy the money and time you/supporters spent, even if some went where it should not have. But, unless she can break free from that stronghold and believe, not just want but believe, she is worthy she won’t be able to break free. This is not just about availability of resources or even your kindness. The core of the problem is much deeper. The Bible says, “we fight not against flesh and blood but against principalities”. Her fight is with the darkness that set her life on this trajectory in the first place. BUT, when taught properly, the living word of God (bible), spirit of truth would be the only thing that could help her finally believe and KNOW she is worthy of the love you and your patrons have given her. It made me disgusted when he said that the money goes to him first, then the kids, and “sometimes” to her depending on what it is. I understand how hard it is to get out of a relationship like this because of violence and her kids. I truly hope she can shake him, and get back to the right path that she was on with Mark.
