I feel so bad for Asriah's path especially after the previous video update where she was a lot more relaxed, open and seemed to be trying hard to have her life back on track.
The last part from the clip is very very true: it's easy for me and others to say whatever...but I(and most of us) are/were not living in those places, with such bad people around as family and "friends" to carve our life in a negative way from an early age.

id: 566142 - Text: My top 5 reasons this is Marc's most impressive video to-date:
1. He knew everyone watching will be viscerally disappointed learning about what happened to the money (and his own disappointment,clearly heard, wasn't blunted in the time that must have elapsed between when he found out and when the footage was shot). He knew his donors will be disappointed. Yet he shot and published the video anyway.
2. Many would think, giving all that money to 10 other people instead who'd make a better use of it, would constitute a wiser stewardship of funds by Mark, but he knew better. This channel is to teach us something, and as a society, we (including government and many charity organizations) are woefully ignorant on the mechanisms of perpetuation of misery. What we do is we parade the few successes we gain for our good-will efforts, and we berate or slide failures under the rug. Mark had the selfless courage to do the opposite.
3. I watched this video in my bed at 10AM (OK it's Sat, but still). He mentioned driving to the gym at 5:30AM. That means getting up at 4:45 or 5 at the latest.
4. He lightly touches on the matter of his personal safety, which isn't a small deal. We're talking Bloods, we're talking Crips, we're talking Mark getting between them and their income stream. I think his earnestness and giving everyone respect despite the circumstances, is just as big as his bravery.
5. Fly, Asriah's pimp, drove her to the shoot and stayed in the car (no parking) not knowing what Mark might get her to admit on camera. Later Mark got him to leave the car and come and participate. The amount of rapport building behind the scenes, and journalist's savvy, to make that happen, is rare indeed.
