I actually thought she was drunk and maybe she was a little. I said "alright" but I was already getting vibes. I knew a place at that outdoor mall area by The Linq that had drinks and figured we could get a drink and hang out inside for awhile. So we're standing in line at this place and getting to know each other, She asked me questions like where I was from, what I did for a living, what hotel I was staying at (not a room number though), etc. It was all pretty standard stuff you might ask someone you just met in Vegas. Then she basically named her price saying that for $300 we could hang out "all night" and then go back to my hotel room. I don't remember how exactly she put the last part but she made it clear it would be so I could have sex with her. Anyway, even though I kinda had seen it coming I was still left not knowing what to say. I told her my friends were in the room asleep already (which was true) and I'd have to think about it. So she said "well, let's just hang out and drink our drinks and I'll give you time to think about it". So we did and then we ended up going to a casino (Ceasers), which was my plan anyway and played slots for about two hours. I played exactly how much I had planned and she played with me and we had a lot of fun. She did suggest we'd split any winnings and I agreed even though it was my money. She actually was very helpful at knowing the best slot and exactly how it worked. I had a couple of the free casino drinks there and so did she.
So we left and were walking outside and she brought up her coming back to my room again and was really trying to sell it. I mentioned my friends being there again and she was like "we can just go to the bathroom and turn the shower on" lol. She knew the exact layout of the hotel bathrooms so clearly she'd done this before. Long story short, I just decided it wasn't me so politely declined. Honestly, I don't think she would have robbed me or had anyone rob me. She just seemed like a girl who had sex for money. She took selfies with me by a fountain and gave me her phone number with her fake name and said I should call her tomorrow night if my friends aren't in the room (I never did). She'd been on the phone a couple of times which made me nervous. Was she talking to her pimp? But she said it was her "girlfriend". She offered to walk me back to my hotel (The Venetian, where they were checking people at the elevators) and it was public and well lit so I agreed and that's what she did. "It's the least I can do" she said and sure enough a tall, black girl that definitely looked like a prostitute was out by the hotel waiting for her and she gave me a hug, thanked me for the night and reminded me to call and left and went to talk to her friend. I went back inside my hotel and up to my room and that was that.
Even though I don't think she was planning anything bad for me, I definitely am glad I didn't go through with anything like that and had the street smarts to proceed with caution
