id: 589807 - Text: The Cecil and the more notorious Frontier hotels have been mentioned on my channel many times. One video where a gang member who was raised in one of these hotels told such crazy stories that his video got so many claims that he was lying I finally decided to delete it.
id: 589836 - Text: I see a LOT of people commenting on other people's comments and on Mark's videos telling people that they should stfu and help people themselves, etc. In my personal life I have tried to help many people in similar situations to those reflected in Mark's videos. Professionally, I managed low-income housing for addicts, homeless (I was in charge of helping them find housing), veterans and others. My heart broke a million times and I bent over a million times trying to help others in those situations. It is sadly a fact that you truly cannot help some people. There are, unfortunately, far too many that will see the opportunity presented to them, as exactly that - an opportunity to exploit. I've had to go in and completely remodel the living units afterwards, blood on the walls, knives in the walls, grocery bags melted to the lights, piles of rocks in 2nd floor apartments, the worst smells ever and not to mention all of the drug needles. There are a select few that do end up changing. Honestly though, and it really sucks, it is rare. I myself have been homeless and to rehab which is why I've always tried so hard to help people like in Mark's videos. Unless you have some internal perspective and have done any of the things Mark has done or I have done, you probably should just watch the videos and STFU or go and do something yourself.
