I’m just a viewer, basically since Mark started it, so I’m familiar enough, and I watch to learn more to help those addicted. Mark replies to the exploitation issue in his interview on the Koncrete channel. Many things in our society can be considered to contain degrees of exploitation such as the evening news, modeling or factory work. No one is forced to do the interviews; some turn him down and if people wish him to take the interview down Mark is willing. These videos help keep some addicts sober, can increase gratitude, serve as cautionary tales and lead to insight into our human nature. Some have led to help for the interviewee through viewers and family reaching out. Many have told Mark they found the interview beneficial. Mark created a general gofundme for all his interviewees and Mark’s usually willing to fulfill requests for food, clothes, tents, phones, motel stays, etc. For some willing to change their lifestyles he’s been able to help them in more meaningful ways (some documented on this channel). Mark is well-loved on Skid Row for all he’s helped (often when no one else has) and I kid you not when I say Mark helps more than you’d think possible for one man.
