id: 595418 - Text: I saw a very short video, a long time ago ('80's?), 'G'-rated, just showing a glimpse of the workings of one of these places (I think it had Bunny and Ranch in the title - seriously, I don't remember). It frankly horrified me.
The exterior made a maximum security prison look like a daycare center.
The interior had such low ceilings, that (combined with the overall darkness) made me think it would be advisable to wear a hard hat and light, a la coal miners or spelunkers.
The decor was in breathtakingly bad taste. It would be impossible to parody the interior, since there was no decorating cliche that hadn't been maximized. I remember thinking how sorry I felt for both the women AND any man desperate enough to put her/him -self in that situation.
The women were just sad. Some were cute, some had pretty features. But there was a certain mechanical nihilism in their demeanor.
It was and still is my hope for something better for all of those women.
