We really don't need to wait for the government to do something. We can all lend a hand and help them in some way. He genuinely cares for these people, but with this kind of interviews he tries to portray what kind of person is sitting in front of him in this harsh world. He doesn’t want to portray himself as some kind of saviour, which I admire a lot. Especially in a world where people are just being nice to make videos and gain a lot of views. That’s not what he’s trying to do.

He literally told predators that this girl is alone on the streets unprotected. He does not care about her safety or else he would have prepared every question before hand and thought about it Thoroughly or he could have cut the video instead at the end to remove sensitive information.
