I don't think you understand the analogy - not surprised. The analogy pertains to the responsibility and freedom associated in proportion to the actual work and labor needed to produce a new life. This is everything past conception and before birth - all of gestation.
I suggested the woman has a greater responsibility during the gestation period because she becomes the sole environment for that fetus, which, because she has a greater responsibility during that time, she also has more control over what happens. If both parents have equal say so, it is because she allows that to be the case, which is how it should be.
