He’s been losing money for years & funds this channel from his earnings in advertising work. He has a general GoFundMe set up to help cover some of what he spends helping his interviewees. He pays them well & fulfills requests for food, clothing, tents, phones, Uber rides, motel stays, etc. Fixing even 1 of these people’s lives is a huge undertaking involving rehab, job education, housing, etc., which would cost more than the GoFundMe provides; however the main obstacle is these people often don’t accept the help due to low self-esteem. Even given these limitations Mark has managed to help some in a big way.
