I really hope that she finds some light in the darkness, and can pull her way out of addiction. There’s a woman called Jessica Kent on YouTube who talks about her time i prison and addiction, and getting her child back from foster care (she had her while she was in prison and it was extremely traumatic). If by some chance Denise reads this I would recommend having a look at some of her videos. She talks about how hard it is to get a job with felony convictions. The way system in the US treats drug addiction and felons is horrifying.
