The fact that a Nye County (or a few other Nevada counties but not Clark/Las Vegas) brothel is legal would probably raise the price even more as the john doesn't have to worry about getting arrested. I remember a time where a street prostitute in a large city only cost $100 for a "trip around the world" but not anymore. I have never been arrested but had some friends that went downtown and got busted -- they went in a big group and the cops had decoys out that evening. Since this was in Michigan where solicitation carries life without parole plus 15 years in prison if the DA decided to attach first degree CSC to it (MI is the only state with such an attachment, it does NOT signify force being used or sexual assault) they had one hell of a scare. The DA plead it down to solicitation and since it was a first offense for all of them they just had the hell fined out of them (IIRC it was $5K each plus court costs and they had to pay their attorneys thousands more each) but they are all now convicted felons out of it.
