If partners are honest, tested, and using condoms and at least 1 other form of birth control, then the risks drop dramatically. Yes, it's called "safer sex" because you can never eliminate any possibilities. We get vaccines and they're not 100%. You can protect yourself and have fun and often you walk away with only a great experience. We also don't talk about how curable some std's are. Sexual freedom, mixed with medicine, healthy communication and education, is not a death sentence.
