Kenny Red was charged w/ 2 counts of money laundering in 2006 so he must be pretty smart & careful in how he facilitates his "pimping" as to not ever leave enough evidence for police to charge him w/ trafficking. For Johns or tricks, it's Penal Code 647b PC, soliciting a prostitute to perform lewd acts, it's a misdemeanor and could result in jail time of up to 6 months. Fines up to $1,000.
