But my point with social media and the ability to go viral is becoming more attainable. It's these types of platforms that give you the ability to build a brand and monetary success follows.
And again, I don't think the girls or myself support the idea of trying to 'get lucky' by getting the attention of someone to support them. I believe they were making the point more to the air of being self made in the sense that you focus on yourself and your worth and "someone who can afford you" on levels like emotion/ambition/values will become attracted to that because you are confident in yourself.
Going back to your original statement, it sounds like what you described as a 'suitor' is the opposite of what to look for. It does not sound healthy to me... but to each their own.

I’m not sure how you feel about our comments, but I want you to know that you have brought awareness about the deep rooted causes that make people feel like they have no other options than to live the street life. I think that may be the difference...I had a strong family unit who loved and supported me. Several years of hurt came pouring out of me within just a few days so it was a tough season on my family as well as myself, but my husband went to battle for me...on his knees. He prayed for my freedom from my thoughts and personal persecution. He loved me hard and helped me understand that none of my abuse was my fault. Because of your videos, and others that I watch, I clearly see just how fortunate I am. My head was so screwed up that at any time I could have made one poor decision and I could have easily been one of these lovely girls in your interviews. From what I've heard in places like the red light district of Amsterdam cameras are not allowed. There is a reason for that. This is what makes that work distinct from things like the porn industry. Pornography is intended for public consumption although it's done in private typically. Prostitution and I mean legalized prostitution is not intended for public consumption. That's the slight yet major difference of the two. Then you have to get into the notion of how the two lines of work are perceived although they are similar they are not the same. And although there are pornographic stars that also do prostitution and the other way around. These are not the same lines of work. Don't get me wrong I don't think legalizing it will fix all problems. But I'm very confident that it will help a lot of people and prevent a lot of situations that end up spiraling or getting worse because there is no protection under the statutes of our society.
