I had to leave Portland, it’s become an armpit. Worse than east coast ghettos, this is what Portland Oregon is now. Why can’t we fix this? I care very much about these people. On the other hand, I love n care about everyone else too. I was driving an Uber just before covid hit. A mom and 7 yr old daughter in back seat. We’re sitting at a light, guy on a bench …. Little girl says mom what is he doing? We both look, shooting up. I think my point is, my ‘care’ for these people can only go so far. Once their problem falls out of themselves and spills onto everyone else especially children or animals…. I got no more compassion or patience. I’m sorry. I just can’t deal with this. I care, but, ya know? They’re abusing all of us. They all need to be scooped up, mandatory rehab. After a year in rehab, learning a trade, get them into a job and apartment, new city away from old friends n hang outs. Counselors checking on them daily for a year…. I mean, let’s fix this!!!!!!
